By logging onto a ZOOM Class, subscribing to Pilates on demand or participating in a Studio class with Horsley Pilates Ltd (the Teacher), you agree to the following statement.

You consent to and agree to release Horsley Pilates Ltd from liability according to the following terms. Unless the Teacher notifies you otherwise, this waiver and release will apply to all classes undertaken by you with the Teacher.

Please use common sense and your own judgement whenever taking online sessions with Horsley Pilates Ltd, or when using the video on demand library. Remember, you are in charge of your own body, and you should always choose an appropriate level for yourself. Please ensure your space is clear, with no obvious hazards, and you take care of yourself and notice of your surroundings.
Before starting a new exercise programme it is recommended that you consult a medical professional and follow their guidance. By participating in these live and pre-recorded online classes, you agree to do so at your own risk and assume all responsibility for injury to yourself while undertaking any exercises. You understand you are responsible for listening to your body and if you experience any pain, faintness, dizziness or discomfort you must stop the exercise. By using this platform, you agree that this channel has no liability for any injury or loss you may suffer while participating in the classes. It is not advised that you participate in online classes if you are pregnant or have acute injuries. If you have any questions about your health, you should consult a physician or healthcare professional.

I will ensure that I am working in a safe environment where I am able to see and hear my Teacher in order to follow instructions.

I understand that by participating in any online classes, my Teacher is not specifically able to offer personal corrections.

I also agree not to record or share the lesson in any form.

Agreement to this Online Teaching Notification will act as my continued agreement to all ensuing online sessions, via Zoom or any other video conferencing tool. By joining the class, I automatically agree to waive all statutory rights against my Teacher. Any claims would fall under UK jurisdiction.

How we use your personal information
Whilst using the website in the future, you may be asked to provide personal information (name, telephone number, email and address). We will use this information to administer our website, client databases and marketing material eg new classes, venues and workshops. We may also periodically send other information we think you may find interesting using the email address you have provided. By providing your email and telephone phone number, you consent to Horsley Pilates contacting you for the purposes of arranging classes, and will only be used for marketing if you have given your consent. Your details will never be shared with third parties.

When visiting the studio for the first time, you will be asked to complete a written enrolment form which will include an area for any relevant medical information regarding injuries, necessary for the class. This data is held securely in a locked office and only seen by the teacher. Attendance records used for class management are also kept. This information will be held for seven years for insurance purposes.

Enquiries from non customers (name, email address and message) recieved via our website or by email will be held for up to a year, and used to answer queries and follow ups.

We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, as adopted into law of the United Kingdom in the Data Protection Act 2018.
